Dr. R. Narendran

Dr. Narendran Ramakrishnan is a physician who has inherited traditional values of medical practice and continues to apply it in his day to day practice of medicine.
He is a fellow of The Royal College of Surgeons , Glasgow.
He is at present working as Senior Consultant ENT, Head and Neck and Skull Base surgery in Kauvery Hospital.in He is a visiting Consultant at Apollo Hospitals, Chennai and VHS, Chennai
Prior to this he was Consultant and Head of Department of ENT, Head and neck and Skull Base Surgeon at MIOT International hospital, Chennai.
He is also the only person in the State of Tamil Nadu performing Balloon Sinuplasty and Eustachian dilatations.
He was the first person to start Coblation Procedures in Tamil Nadu state.
Dr. Narendran Ramakrishnan, graduated from Madras Medical college in 1995 and then with an MS in ENT from Sri Ramachandra Medical college in 2001 top of the class.
He then underwent training under Prof Stammberger at University of Graz in 2003, Dr Vijay Anand at Weill Cornell New York, in 2004 and House Ear Institute, Los Angeles 2006.
He has published papers in many journals
His Surgical repertoire includes Cochlear Implants, Skull Base Procedures, Head and neck procedures including Oncology work. Routine Otology, Voice surgery and Sinus surgeries.
He is involved in Community work and has given many lectures on ENT problems due to environmental issues to school children and in other public fora.
He has conducted and attended ENT camps for the underprivileged, which provide free screening and treatment to those who do not have access to medical facilities.
