Balloon Sinuplasty

The primary pathology in chronic sinus disease without polyps is OMC Obstruction.
This causes Outflow tract obstruction.
Dilatation of the sinus ostia with a balloon opens the outflow tract.
The balloon dilatation causes microfracture of the ostia thus keeping it patent.
Irrigation of the sinuses post dilatation clears the disease

Balloon eustachian Tuboplasty

Simple procedure
Use a balloon through a Guide- a redesigned Eustachian tube catheter
Widen the Cartilaginous part of the ET Tube.

Persistent Et dysfunction- Valsalva and Toynbee manoeuvres don’t work.
Persistent tinnitus of ET cause
Persistent Middle ear effusion. Can be combined with a Grommet insertion
